Joma Sison on getting information from the Dutch police re threats to his person. I asked him for details. He narrates what went down, with permission to share.
“Last Friday, March 7, the Utrecht police came to my residence around 12:30 p.m. and talked to Julie and me first about a forthcoming March 10 demonstration against me in The Hague and to take precautionary measures at home and wherever I go because there are threats against my personal safety.
We discussed the alarm system in the house, the extra latches on the door, the need for a companion where I go and the CCTV on my street and in the vicinity of the NDFP International Office at Utrecht centrum. We were advised to contact the police in case we notice any threat.”
